From time to time, and for no apparent reason, the setting for automatic formula calculations is reset.

If you notice that your calculations are not being performed automatically, follow the steps below to update this setting –

1. Select the Formulas tab in the Excel ribbon;
2. Select Calculation Options from the Calculation Group;
3. Select Automatic from the drop-down menu and formulas will be calculated automatically.
