The ATO are holding the Tax Time 2026 open forum on Wednesday 22 July, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm (AEST), featuring Anita Challen, Assistant Commissioner and ATO Tax Time spokesperson, and Kelly Norwood, Assistant Commissioner, Strategic Performance and Engagement. 

Session topics will include:

  • latest tax time insights and common errors
  • pre-fill enhancements and their impact on practitioners
  • the growing influence of misinformation from social media and AI-generated content  
  • the current debt environment and how to support clients facing payment difficulties  
  • support options to help clients meet their tax and payment obligations.  

Bring your questions and hear directly from ATO experts to help your clients navigate tax time with confidence.
